IIE Varsity College equips students with knowledge for their future

Lecturer at the IIE Varsity College based in Sandton, Diana Robertson, with various academic professionals spend their time with postgraduate students to discuss their future.

The Sandton-based IIE Varsity College campus invited its postgraduate students to an evening of networking and discussion with individuals from different professions.

Staff members of the institution were pleased to see a great number of students participating in the postgraduate info evening on October 4. According to the public relations representative of the IIE Varsity College, Anto Kagisho, the focus of the event was to assist students by providing them with knowledge of the working environment.

“Tertiary education produces well-educated students who are equipped to deal with a wide range of challenges and advancements. Skilled citizens are more able to compete on a level acting field with students outside of South Africa, and more likely to be able to share knowledge in their communities,” said lecturer Diana Robertson.
“Education is a powerful tool for upliftment and change. My own journey was impacted, possibly, through a lifelong learning perspective that I have adopted. Knowledge is power, I see progression, growth, and wisdom as I evolved with each qualification obtained.”
