The bounti rebounding marathon celebrates women

Lisa Raleigh who organised one of the largest rebounding marathons in Bryanston was more than thrilled to see an abundance of happy participants thanking her for the morning filled with passion, pain and muscle gains.

Through her motivation of inspiring individuals to have fun while exercising, Lisa Raleigh, and her team successfully did so by organising one of the largest rebounding marathons for women on August 28.

Raleigh who has been an exercise specialist for more than 20 years invited over 100 participants to join her to a morning of filled with rebounding exercises. The launch which was held on the corner of Posthouse Street and Main Road in Bryanston, offered each individual a rebound trampoline, small exercise ball and resistance bands for every workout session.

To honour National Women’s Day which occurred in the early days of August, the team had shared knowledge of the theme with participants weeks prior to the event which was centred on superhero figures. Showing and celebrating that women are the true heroines in today’s society. Jumpers from all races and ages could not resist coming out in with their caps, masks and amours as they tackled their arch nemesis in the form of multiple exercises and endurance.

“I had a time of my life with all of these great people. It’s different from aerobics: with rebounding you can go on for hours without feeling tired with more benefits to ones health. It’s absolutely fun,” said a participant, Carla Lewis.

“There is a reason why I named the launch, bounti rebounding marathon. During era of the wild west, bounty hunters tracked down bounties for rewards. Putting it to context of today’s society, exercising is a way in which people can easily gain their rewards especially through consistency. I am grateful for each individual that took the time to join us on our initiative of having fun while exercising with our lovely team,” said Raleigh.
