Woodrock family rocks with dogs
Representatives of the Woodrock Animal Rescue pop-up shop located at the Garden Shop in Bryanston gear up for International Dog Day on August 26.

As spring approaches, more individuals will be planning their regular outings and dog owners from all across the world will be delighted that International Dog Day is around the corner.

The Woodrock Animal Rescue team based at the Garden Shop in Bryanston were pumped to share their love of dogs with visitors.

Gearing up for the new season, the majority of the team assisting with the donations of dogs and puppies met up with Bryanston locals on August 14.

Not only did they share details on how individuals can adopt a friendly furry friend but locals had the opportunity to meet a couple of the dogs.

“In the month of July we managed to find homes for 124 dogs and in the month on July, it was around 96.

On average, about 120 dogs get adopted through the Woodrock Animal Rescue organisation,” said the adoption manager of the pet adoption organisation, Philippa Hardwick.
