”During the first couple of months of heavy lockdown, I read in the papers that entertainment was considered nonessential and that really broke my spirit because I believe in the power of entertainment and music, it channels joy. My coping mechanism was spending more time with music and those who inspired me. I’d sit down once a week, revisit a song of an artist that I like listening to and make my interpretation of their genius work,” said the musician.

The interpreted mixtape includes songs such as Shesha Gaza by De Mutha and Njelic, Ain’t no Sunshine by Bill Withers and even Church Bells by Mi Casa.
