Lycée Jules Verne’s Class of 2022 recently celebrated a seventh consecutive 100% pass rate.

For a seventh consecutive year, the Lycée Jules Verne graduating class have achieved a 100% pass rate.

The Class of 2022 recently celebrated their phenomenal results following this year’s Baccalauréat examinations.

The learners commemorated their graduation with family and teachers at the French Residence where the French ambassador to South Africa, Aurélien Lechevallie, congratulated the class on their stellar performance.

The French Baccalauréat, popularly referred to as the Bac, is a diploma that marks the completion of the French Lycée (high school) programme. It follows the curriculum guidelines established by the French Ministry of Education.

While a majority of Lycée Jules Verne’s graduates decide to continue their studies in France, the French Bac is widely recognised around the world and provides the learners with a pathway to top universities around the world.

According to school principal Emannuelle Marqui, what the learners have achieved in the midst of yet another challenging year is nothing short of incredible.

“I would like to pay tribute to their parents who helped support and motivated them through the year as well as their teachers who worked tirelessly to ensure the 100% pass rate while making sure they did not lose sight of their future goals and aspirations.

“The outstanding 2022 results are proof of the quality of learning given by the Lycée and it is incredibly rewarding to see our students excel and move on to the very best universities in the world. At Lycée Jules Verne we strive to ensure that all of our students are indeed ‘prepared for the world’.”
