Polo tournament held at the Inanda Club

The annual Cell C Inanda Africa Cup held at the Inanda Club on June 26 gives the green light to fashion, polo tournament and great food.

The highly anticipated polo tournament, Cell C Inanda Africa Cup 2022 set on June 26, displayed a lot of good food, music, drinks, polo matches and most of all, great outfits.

Guests who attended the lavish event held at the Inanda Club spared no expenses on their stunning outfits and showed no intimidation of the presence of winter. Every attire worn had a message behind it with some individuals highlighting that they were bringing back summer.

Actress and radio presenter Nomalanga Shozi, who was the official hostess of the event, shared her main reason for attending the tournament.

“We are all here to be a part of something big which is the Cell C Inanda Africa Cup 2022. Personally, I’m not really a sport bettor, so today’s function for me is all about mingling with the people and of course the easy fashion. Seeing people express themselves through their style and fashion has always been amazing and I am enjoying that right now.”

When asked what she went for as her outfit, she said that she went for practical chic which translates to smart, elegant and sophisticated and which she rightfully owned.

With the spotlight centred on style and fashion, the tournament itself was fantastic. No injuries from either the riders or horses were reported during the course of the event. Polo manager of the Inanda Club Craig James described the entire atmosphere of the event.

“Super excited about the results of today, the Cell C team in the final tried their hardest and put their hearts on the field. Verdant Capital came out winners at the end. It’s so nice to see so many people out here watching polo in person.”

  • Player of the tournament: Charlie Spilsbury
  • Best horse of the tournament: Hardcore the horse
  • Winning team of the tournament: Verdant Capital.
