As stated by Lerato Agency publicist, Given Madia, the whole aim of the award ceremony was to recognise the hard work of young South Africans. It was no accident that Pat on Brands hosted the event a day before the celebration of Youth Day to make it more meaningful.

“As much as we celebrate young people’s brands, I would like for you to recognise the fact that young people are not folding their hands. They are actually knocking on doors and creating amazing brands that help our economy grow,” said the founder of Pat on Brands, Pat Mahlangu.

“I think it’s a great platform for young, smart brains to be recognised, but besides that, it’s also a great place to network and collaborate. Initiatives such as this is really important as it inspires the leaders of tomorrow,” said Kabelo Legodi.
