World-leading technology in education
Group Head of Academics and Innovation at Kyalami Schools Mark Naidoo writes:
Our recent showcase of Chromebooks at Beaulieu Preparatory School and Kyalami Schools Group was done in partnership with Acer SA and Google for Education and was presented at their recent international conference in Bryanston. Christina Pez, the Senior Education Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, also visited Beaulieu Preparatory School in April – she met with some staff and children to see how we are using Chromebooks.
Thank you to our academic staff and Acer for their support in helping us successfully integrate technology at our schools – with these associations and efforts, we were able to successfully navigate remote, hybrid and online learning, during 2020/2021. It also opens the door for global opportunities as we continue to support similar partnerships.
Our Kyalami Preparatory campus is also currently in the process of becoming a Google Reference School, which will further bolster our partnership with these global tech giants and offer even more educational opportunities to our community of students, parents and staff.
