Johannesburg water announces completion of emergency PRV repairs
The PRV was being repaired due to a major burst at Marlboro reservoir outlet.
The reservoir that was impacted is regaining capacity. Customers in Kelvin and Marlboro will experience low pressure, while those further on the network may still be without water. The network may take some time to fully recover.
Morningside, Sunninghill, Gallo Manor, Paulshof, Rivonia, Woodmead, Bryanston, Buccleuch, Wendywood, and Juksei View are among the locations that are affected.
Mobile tankers will be provided as an alternate water supply in the affected areas.
