Planned outage for Illovo and surrounds
The outage will affect suburbs supplied by the Rosebank substation from 21:00 on May 4 to 05:00 on May 5.
Residents are encouraged to take note of a planned power outage scheduled for May 4 and 5 in the Illovo and surrounding areas.
According to City Power, the outage will affect suburbs supplied by the Rosebank substation from 21:00 on May 4 to 05:00 on May 5.
“The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance on our network which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide better service,” said City Power in a statement.
These suburbs include:
- Craighall
- Craighall Park
- Hyde Park
- Illovo
- Rosebank.
“As supply may be restored anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.”
