The fighter out of Alan Toweel Boxing Gym in Linden used his supreme boxing skills to wow a capacity crowd at the Galleria in Sandton on April 21.

His first title defence fight was against the accomplished Loyiso Ngantweni but the contest was one-sided.

“His jab was the key to his success, setting his opponent up for the straight right,” explained coach Alan Toweel.

“Hit and do not get hit is Bangile’s motto. This was Bangile’s first title defence since winning the title last year July. Our plan is to have a second defence of his title within the next four months, enhancing his career step by step.”
