Randburg police arrest 38 in recent weeks

Police arrest many suspects at Operation O Kae Molao initiatives.

Randburg police have arrested 38 suspects in various operations since mid-February.

Spokesperson Makgowanyana Maja said these arrests were for various crimes ranging from malicious damage to property, robbery, fraud, theft, assault with intent to cause grievous body harm, domestic violence and rape.

Several of these arrests were made during Johannesburg sub-district police stations’ Operation O Kae Molao initiatives and daily deployment.

Suspects are due to appear in the Randburg and Roodepoort magistrate’s courts after being formally charged.

“Randburg police detectives are on the heels of suspects, leaving no stone unturned,” Maja concluded.
