JP Morgan Corporate Challenge returns

ILLOVO – Once participants have crossed the finished line, the celebrations continue with an after-party headlined by local favourites Swing City.

After a short break, the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is making an exciting return to the streets of Johannesburg.

Employees from the country’s largest corporate organisations will trade in their formal work attire for a pair of running shoes to take on the challenge on March 31 at the Wanderers Club in Illovo.

For the ninth year in a row, JP Morgan has partnered with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, a global organisation that uses the power of sport to bring about social change.

The foundation supports various programmes around the world to create development through sport.

JP Morgan will be making a donation to the foundation on behalf of all the Johannesburg Corporate Challenge entrants.

Ambassador and highly decorated sprinter, Akani Simbine, is excited to represent Laureus as he attends his first challenge.

“The Laureus ambassador title is one I wear proudly, so sharing in an event supported by so many, which, in turn, gives back to so many, is a great honour for me. I have been privileged enough to experience so much of the world because of sport. It has changed my life and opened up so many doors for me, so, I’m excited to be supporting JP Morgan and the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation in giving others from all around the world those same opportunities,” said Simbine.

Once participants have crossed the finished line, the celebrations continue with an after-party headlined by local favourites Swing City.
