British International College celebrates results
BRYANSTON – The Cambridge exam results are internationally recognised and many of the school’s learners ranking among the top achievers of not only the country but also in the world.
Learners at the British International College continue to excel on an international level.
The school hosted its annual Brilliance Awards on March 10 in Bryanston to celebrate the learners’ phenomenal results in the recent Cambridge exams.
The Cambridge exams are internationally recognised and many of this year’s learners ranked among the top achievers in not only the country but also in the world.
According to British International College group, general manager Jan van der Walt, there were1.8 million learners across the globe writing the Cambridge exams and to have its learners excelling at that level is phenomenal. “These [learners] are future leaders, carry on working and putting in the hard work because you are preparing the world for us.”
Director of studies, Claudia Meyer, noted that to have the learners competing alongside First World countries and ranking among the top achievers was outstanding.
“They [the learners] worked for this, yes we built the environment but the learners made the decision because it is their future and their work. For the learners this is a huge win when it comes to things like university as it sets them up for a different mindset altogether,” said Meyer.
Van der Walt also extended a special thank you to the teachers who have continued to commit their time and hard work to see the learners through to the end.
