Hyde Park High learners get jabbed

HYDE PARK – The learners were proud to complete their vaccination processes and receive their vaccination cards.

The learners at Hyde Park High School were excited to receive their Covid-19 vaccinations.

A team from the Department of Health visited the school to assist eligible learners with kickstarting their vaccination process on February 18.

According to the school’s communications secretary Avril Wright, many of the learners who already received their first dose offered words of encouragement to their more nervous classmates.

“Several learners that had already had their first vaccine dose and were eligible for a booster provided moral support for those more nervous, as they were awaiting their turn at the nurse’s station.”

She added that at the end of the day there were many proud smiles as the learners completed their vaccination process and received the vaccination cards.
