Grayston Prep swimmers give it their all

SANDTON – Swimmers of all ages gave it their best, battling it out in the pool for top honours.

It was a day of fun and friendly competition at Grayston Preparatory School as the school hosted this year’s Championship Gala on January 21.

Swimmers of all ages gave it their best, battling it out in the pool for top honours.

According to the schools’ Nicole Liebenberg, for the first time in many years the weather was absolutely perfect for the learners.

“Judging by the sportsmanship, effort, and enthusiasm evident at this event, the forthcoming inter-school league is going to be a successful, happy one.”

In the end, the school’s Zaila Forsdyke de Almeida and Liam Levinson took home the honour of junior victrix and victor ludorum while the honour of senior victrix and victor ludorum went to Leila Springer and Tyler Cloete.
