Education for disadvantaged but deserving students

SANDTON – Students pay a monthly portal fee from R500 for the duration of their studies and then pay fully for the qualification once receiving a job after completing the studies.

The EducationForAll (EdForAll) initiative, launched by the Regenesys Foundation based in Sandton, provides an opportunity for financially disadvantaged matric achievers to access quality higher education.

Executive director of EdForAll Indherani Reddy explained that the initiative gives hope for students to realise their potential against all odds.

The revolutionary, disruptive, technology-driven online higher education programme delivers accredited internationally recognised MBAs, bachelor’s degrees, diplomas and certificate programmes for R500 per month to disadvantaged but deserving students and blue-collar workers in South Africa and across the globe.

Students pay a monthly portal fee from R500 for the duration of their studies and then pay fully for the qualification once receiving a job after completing the studies.

The programme offers courses including, but not limited to, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Accounting Science, Bachelor of Public Management.

Reddy said, “For us, it is a privilege and honour to be able to make this important contribution to the world and assist every deserving student to get out of these difficult times.

“We want to ensure that students get to achieve their dreams and contribute positively to society.

“Our wish is to wipe away the tears of parents who otherwise cannot afford to pay for the higher education of their children. We aim to create a world where higher education is a human right for all and not a privilege for a select few.”

Chair of the Regenesys Group Dr Marko Saravanja said, “We are deeply committed to developing leaders who are capable of solving the current challenges facing the world, from unemployment and climate change to poverty. EdForAll is an opportunity for every human being on the planet to get educated, develop and awaken their potential and realise their dreams to make this world a better place.”
