Redhill swimmer honoured with national colours

Redhill School learner Joshua Naidoo is set to receive his national colours following his recent performance at the African Youth Games held in Lesotho last year.

The ninth International African Union Sports Council Youth Games, held every four years, is a multi-sport event that invites African’s best and brightest young athletes to compete. The Grade 11 swimmer was chosen to represent South African at the games. According to the school on social media, as a result of Joshua’s phenomenal performance, he will be awarded Sports Confederation, Olympic and Paralympic Committee colours.
