A year of resilience for Rotary Sandton

SANDTON – The Sandton Rotary Club has remained just as committed to serving the community as it was in the club’s founding year in 1970.

Resilience is the word that best describes the year 2021 for the Rotary Club of Sandton.

This is according to club president Kabelo Kabelo Kgodane, as she reflects on the year that was for the club. “We started the year knowing that our lives can never be the same again and we went into the year with a plan to not just to bounce back but to bounce forward.”

She added that the club has remained just as committed to serving the community as it was in the club’s founding year in 1970. “Those intervening years of fellowship has enabled the community, the country and indeed many other parts of the world, to be that little bit better off because the Rotary Club of Sandton helped in some way.”

The club would like to thank the community for supporting the club through this tough time and continuing to reach out to each other, even if it was done virtually. “We have found new ways to serve using the power of digital technologies and we look forward to continuing to serve to change lives with you in the New Year!”
