The power of community with Ashraful Aid

MARLBORO – The organisation continuously sees the benefit of the support given by volunteers and the community to jointly assist with poverty eradication.

Local humanitarian organisation Ashraful Aid has thanked the Sandton Chronicle and the community for its ongoing support throughout the year.

According to marketing manager Femida Cassim, on behalf of the organisation, it has been a year of challenges as the organisation has constantly been on the ground getting involved in feeding projects – both locally and internationally. “This year, our country faced more challenges than anticipated, especially in KwaZulu-Natal and Alexandra where many are still trying to recover their losses.”

Ashraful Aid remains grateful to all of the businesses and members of the community who supported it with much-needed items for distribution. “This assistance is one aspect of ubuntu, and with your ongoing support we hope to continue assisting the homes of many others faced with extreme poverty nationwide and abroad.

“With this in mind and the income of many impacted by the pandemic and the economy, we found the need for assistance in 2021 had grown much more in the country.”

The organisation continuously sees the benefit of the support given by volunteers and the community to jointly assist with poverty eradication. “On a daily basis, we continue receiving messages of assistance required from education, housing to relief aid.

“With your help we aim to continue assisting, we are with humanity and for humanity. Wishing all the readers and staff of this publication, a safe and well-rested holiday.”
