Bryanston designer stuns at fashion week

BRYANSTON – This season’s collection, heavily inspired by Nengovhela’s late father Dickson Ralushai, was showcased at Mall of Africa in Midrand to a sold-out show.

It was a night to remember for Bryanston’s very own designer Hangwani Nengovhela when she recently debuted her latest collection for Rubicon Clothing at South African Fashion Week.

According to Nengovhela, she had the opportunity to bring her father’s love for fashion to life. “The collection played around [with] bold colours in asymmetric patterns, while still staying grounded to neutral colours.”

She added that after almost 20 years as an established fashion house, Rubicon Clothing has proven that in order to stay on top of the fashion world, it is important to pay attention to detail – it is the true art of fashion.

“Since the beginning, it has been Rubicon Clothing’s goal to uplift women everywhere. We believe that everyone has a right to feel beautiful, ‘when you look good, you feel good’ that is what every garment embodies and that is what Rubicon Clothing lives by,” said Nengovhela.
