Sandton’s resident SuperMash encourages young entrepreneurs

SANDTON – The Kid CEO Programme teaches children and teenagers how to brainstorm brilliant business ideas, design a logo, register a company, learn how to budget and, most importantly, make a sale.

Young Sandton resident Prince Mashawana, also known as SuperMash, hopes to encourage kids and teenagers to start their first business while still at school.

In his latest book, the Kid CEO Programme, the first book in his Diary of a Superhero series, Prince outlines some of the fundamental tools and strategies that young aspiring businesses owners can use to gain valuable experience in starting, managing and growing a successful business.

“Entrepreneurship can change the world, I started my first business a while back, and the lessons I learnt have helped me become so much better,” said the eight-year-old.

The SuperMash name is widely known in the community for encouraging young children to see themselves as heroes.

“Not only will children be better equipped to meet and overcome challenges, but they will also learn the true depth of the power within themselves as they assume personal responsibility, grow emotionally and boost self-awareness.”

“One of my favourite chapters in the book has to be the tips on how to keep customers happy; getting that first sale will feel great but remember you want your customers to keep on coming back.”

The first book of Diary of a Superhero: Kid CEO Programme will be available in November in leading bookstores nationwide.
