Meet the candidates for this year’s ward councillors for Ward 32

SANDTON – Voters anticipate the ward council election on November 1.

A dawn for a new South Africa calls upon the citizens of the country to make their mark in this year’s ward council election scheduled for November 1.

TLHATHLOGO MOEKETSI, ANC: What is very important to me is identifying where my ward needs to be developed. For example, our community lacks a number of essential things that make a community whole, things like police stations, clinics and reactional areas that are within our ward. Most of these things are from our neighbouring wards such as Rosebank which is a distance from most people. Lastly, try to curb criminal activities.
MARTIN WILLIAMS, DA: It takes years to learn many things a ward councillor needs to know and we keep learning. The community deserves the benefit of my knowledge and experience. I have a good understanding of the issues that we face. There are community leaders actively working towards constructive solutions. I support them in their endeavors.
