ALERT: Lonehill and surrounds currently without water

LONEHILL – The outage will allow the entity to conduct a tie-in into the existing pipe network.

Johannesburg Water alerts residents of planned water outages affecting Lonehill and its surrounds on 21 October.

The outage affected will allow the entity to conduct a tie-in into an existing pipe network. Water is expected to be restored at around 19:00.

Johannesburg Water would like to appeal to the community to continue using water sparingly as Level 1 water restrictions remain in place. “Watering gardens is not allowed between 6am and 6pm in summer (1 September to 31 March) and, furthermore, it is not allowed to wash paved areas and driveways using hosepipes,” said the entity in its daily water update.
