Success for Woodrock pop-up adoption centre

BRYANSTON – The Woodrock adoption centre at Bryanston Garden Shop is open every Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00.

Woodrock Animal Rescue continues to go above and beyond for its animals.

The excitement could be felt all around as the non-profit recently launched its third pop-up adoption centre at Bryanston Garden Shop.

According to Woodrock’s Jacqui Martheze, the pop-up centre has allowed the community to not only get a taste of what animal rescue is all about but most importantly, give the animals an opportunity to find their forever homes.

“They [the animals] showed themselves off so well that on the first day we had a gob-stopping figure of six adoption applications, all of whom home checks have been approved, and ready to go to their forever families and homes.”

Martheze added that the Woodrock team was beyond grateful to have been given this opportunity to have yet another strong presence within the community, bringing animal rescue closer to people and educating everyone about adoption instead of shopping.
