Partnering for a good cause

SANDTON – Imperial Lions men’s coach Wandile Gwavu, batsman Kagiso Rapulana and Imperial Lions women’s cricketer Raisibe Ntozakhe were all in attendance.

Central Gauteng Lions (CGL) and Ashraful Aid International Humanitarian Organisation continue to partner for the good of the community.

Both organisations recently partnered to host a food drive and coaching clinic at Alexandra Cricket Club.

Imperial Lions men’s coach Wandile Gwavu, batsman Kagiso Rapulana and Imperial Lions women’s cricketer Raisibe Ntozakhe were all in attendance, giving their time to inspire the cricketers of tomorrow.

According to Ashraful Aid CEO Yusuf Nabee, as part of its aim to respond to calls of despair from communities, the organisation partnered with Central Gauteng Lions to provide much-needed humanitarian aid to those in need.

“We value our partnership with CGL and will continue to support our cricket heroes in their endeavours to give back to communities,” said Nabee.

Central Gauteng Lions marketing and communications manager Wanele Mngomezulu said the Lions were beyond grateful for its ongoing partnership with Ashraful Aid.

“We as the Central Gauteng Lions are pleased to play our part and give back to this very deserving and passionate cricket club,” added Mngomezulu.
