Excited return to school at Michael Mount

BRYANSTON – The school has put various precautions in place to ensure the safety of its learners and staff.

Michael Mount Waldorf School in Bryanston was abuzz on July 26 as the learners were welcomed back onto campus.

Following the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa, learners were permitted to return to school under adjusted alert Level 3 of the lockdown.

Michael Mount principal William Bester noted that while the third term officially started online on July 20, it was wonderful to see the school come alive once again as the learners returned.

“Despite this morning’s cold weather, everyone was in high spirits and eager to start the new term together.”

The school has put various precautions in place to ensure the safety of its learners and staff. Each learner was also individually screened before entering the school.

Bester shares his gratitude to the Michael Mount community who are forced to consistently adapt to the needs of the current circumstances.

“We will certainly continue to keep our learners and staff safe in the hopes that we may stay open for the remainder of the year.”
