The CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa welcomes new CEO Hedley Lewis to the team.
Together with The Cows, the fundraising herd for CHOC, the foundation welcomed Lewis on 2 June. “With your exceptional skills and expertise, our innovative team will progress to new heights where we will be able to continue keeping more than hope alive. We are excited to have you join our family,” said Adri Ludick on behalf of CHOC.
Lewis left the corporate world of Vodacom over a decade ago to join the Smile Foundation as its CEO. He is known for his extensive influence in management, development and upbringing of strategic opportunities.
After 10 years at the Smile Foundation, Lewis is ready for this next adventure with CHOC. “We’re excited to see Lewis apply his experience and knowledge to help grow CHOC further and create more awareness for children and teenagers who are fighting childhood cancer.”
