He said, “Happiness should not be taken for granted, in fact, we should study happiness at school. No one teaches us how to be happy. No one teaches you how to have a positive relationship with yourself or with other people.

“Several pointers that will help towards making you a happier version of yourself include prioritising sleep, finding a way to slow down and to speed up [meditation helps], eat correctly and train consistently.

“Spend time on becoming more self-aware. Create value for others.”

Sharing her view on happiness, Powell pointed out that our whole lives were a reflection of who we were and that the most successful and happy business owners were those who found a balance between passion, grasping how to run a business efficiently and having a guide to help with the day-to-day running of a business.

Hirsch said goal-setting was an important part of building a happy, healthy self-image. She added that putting together a vision board helped with setting one’s long-term goals.

“Don’t chase money if you want to be happy. Find joy in what you do and the money will follow,” concluded Hirsch.
