Hyde Park High learners honoured at awards

HYDE PARK – The learners came out on top in what was a challenging year for both sports and academics.

Hyde Park High School learners were honoured for their academic and sporting achievements.

The learners came out on top in what was a challenging year for both sports and academics. According to the school’s Avril Wright, due to Covid-19, extra-mural activities were at a minimum.

Learners Brice Ague and Aiden Lutz were awarded full colours for swimming for the previous season.

Grade 11 full academic colours were awarded to Nikolaa de Klerk, Mishail Dicoski, Justine Govender, Kwena Mangokwana, Sharon Tigere, Diallo Mohapi, Nishta Naran, Bontsi Pitsoe, Zaiden Shaik and Kai Smith.

“The learners were encouraged to forge ahead with passion to conclude their high school careers with aplomb and make use of every opportunity to achieve their goals this year.”
