All smiles as Crawford Sandton celebrates 2020 matric results

BENMORE – The school's top-performing learner for the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) examinations was Konstantinos Hatzipanis with nine distinctions.

Crawford College Sandton in Benmore today (19 February) celebrated the outstanding performance of its matriculating class.

The Class of 2020 recorded a 100 per cent pass rate, with an average of 3.4 distinctions per learner.

The school’s top performing learner for the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) examinations was Konstantinos Hatzipanis with nine distinctions. He finished 4th among the top 10 achievers in the grade with an overall average of 91.31 per cent.

The top achievers spot went to Savanna Cohen with an overall average of 91.85 per cent. Savanna took home 8 IEB distinctions.

“Last year was very difficult but it is so great to see all of our hard work pay off,” said Savanna.

Principal Tracey Purkiss is immensely proud of the hard work that the learners put in throughout the year, persevering with every challenge that came their way.
