The Tears Foundation would like to thank the community and wish residents a happy and safe holiday season.
Tears is a women-led non-government organisation that provides access to crisis intervention, advocacy, counselling, and prevention education services for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, rape and child sexual abuse.
According to founder Mara Glennie, all of the above-mentioned services are confidential and provided to victims at no cost. The services will continue throughout the holiday season.
“The violent truth is that women in South Africa are not safe,” she said.

- Laptops (new or refurbished)
- Mobile phones (new or used)
- Staff training
- Second-hand vehicle
- Safe-house for victims of rape domestic violence.
