What better way to celebrate the launch of motus.cars than to go on a road trip!  Right? That’s exactly what we thought… so the planning of a three-week road trip, hosted by popular comedian Nic Goliath, began.  First things first when planning a road-trip – decide on your route. Nic decided to start the journey at the Motus Toyota Cape Gate dealership in Brackenfell, Western Cape, and ending at Motus Ford Germiston in Gauteng.

Next, decide what vehicle you will take. Nic couldn’t decide – so he opted to visit nine Motus dealerships – test driving various vehicles along the way during the road-trip from Cape Town, through Bloemfontein and onto Gauteng.

Of course, a road-trip is not complete unless you plan to visit some points of interest. One of the first stops for Nic and his team, on their arrival in Gauteng was Audi Centre Sandton picking up a car to test drive, before visiting Acrobranch.

Nic and his team headed-off to the first ever Acrobranch in SA, situated in the picturesque James and Ethel Grey Park around the corner from Melrose Arch. Nic enjoyed the exhilarating outdoor activity, going from tree to tree doing fun exercises which tested his balance, strength, and focus.

Following a busy morning packed with exercise and fun, Nic and the team headed off to The Saxon Hotel for much needed refreshments.  Whilst visiting, Nic found out that The Saxon Hotel is indeed a historic one and is in fact where Nelson Mandela lived,  when it was a private home and wrote his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom.

A real comic, Nic is making the “Motus Show on the Road”, road trip a journey not to be missed. SA car shoppers and comedy fans can follow his progress during live crossings on Metro FM, during November, weekdays @15h00-18h00 with DJ Naves & Sphectacula, as well as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube updates.
