Stats SA warns public about fake vacancies
JOBURG – According to Statistics South Africa, the Stats SA Human Resource database for registration is not currently open.
Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) has alerted the public of a fake news post that has been circulating on social media, insinuating that there are employment opportunities at the department.
According to a statement issued by Stats SA on 29 September, the message inviting registration for employment opportunities is old. “Stats SA Human Resource database for registration is currently not open. Circulating this old message causes distress among those who are looking for employment as they use their resources to send applications with the hope of improving their employment status.”
