Notice: Planned water outage set for Bryanston

BRYANSTON – The outage will allow the entity to conduct a tie-in on the water grid.

Johannesburg Water has clarified that the outage will only affect a handful of houses in Hans Crescent, Bryanston.

Johannesburg Water would like to advise Bryanston residents of a planned water outage scheduled for 16 September.

The outage affected will allow the entity to conduct a tie-in on the water grid.

The interruption is expected to begin at 9am with restoration scheduled for 5.30pm.

Johannesburg Water would like to appeal to the community to continue using water sparingly as level one water restriction remain in place.

“Watering gardens is not allowed between 6am and 6pm in summer (1 September to 31 March) and furthermore, it is not allowed to wash paved areas and driveways using hosepipes,” said the entity in its daily water update.
