Targeted testing for Covid-19 to be conducted in Region E

SANDTON – Targeted groups include seniors, individuals presenting symptoms and those with comorbidities.

The Department of Health and the City of Johannesburg will be conducting targeted Covid-19 screening and testing in Region E on 4 July.

Healthcare workers will begin testing at 9am at the Buccleuch Park and Athol Square Shopping Centre.

Targeted groups include seniors, individuals presenting symptoms and those with comorbidities.

As of 2 July, confirmed Covid-19 cases in the region stand at 3 800 with 1 156 recoveries.
