Number 1: Concerning number of vehicles on the road – Joburg Mayor

In an effort to clamp down on the movement of individuals during the national lockdown, Johannesburg executive mayor Geoff Makhubo accompanied traffic officers to conduct roadside checks across the city.

Number 2: No panic buyers at Sandton City

Just two days before the national lockdown kicked in, Sandton City was sombre and calm with no panic buyers in sight.

The food court specifically which is always buzzing had just one or two people enjoying their morning coffee.
