Two busted for business break-in, Sandton CBD

SANDTON – Efforts to address trio crimes by the Sandton detectives continue to yield positive results.


The Sandton Police Station has been hard at work and their detectives continue to yield positive results.

The station spokesperson, Captain Granville Meyer said that two suspects, arrested for a business break-in in Sandton CBD in January, appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on 13 February.

According to Meyer, one of the suspects was the store manager of the electronics store. Three LCD televisions, with an estimated value of R60 000, stolen in the break-in, were recovered in Ivory Park on the same morning the suspects appeared in court.

Meyer added that the investigating officers found the perpetrators with much diligence and dedication. They have been applauded for their efforts in ensuring that these culprits are brought to book.
