JMPD reacts swiftly after hijacking in Marlboro

MARLBORO-- The JMPD tracked the tracker signal to find the stolen vehicle in Alexandra.

 Johannesburg Metro Police (JMPD) officers acted swiftly to recover a stolen vehicle.

They followed a tracker signal of the vehicle after a hijacking in Marlboro on 18 December. 

Spokesperson for JMPD, Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said, “The car which was hijacked on Marlboro Drive and South Road in  Marlboro. Officers received a tracker signal and one male suspect was arrested.”

He added that there is no information about the victim. The suspect was apprended and arrested in Alexandra.
