Suspects nabbed for house breaking in Rivonia

RIVONIA – Two suspects were arrested for housebreaking on 6 November.


The collaborative efforts between police and security officers resulted in the arrest of two suspects in Rivonia on 6 November for housebreaking.

According to Captain Granville Meyer of the Sandton Police Station, the suspects, aged 27 and 29, were involved in a housebreaking with the intention to commit a crime. “The security officers on patrol reacted on information about an alarm at the residence when the suspects were found inside the said premises,” he added.

The suspects were later handed over to the police and appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 7 November.
