Spooky Parkmore streets

PARKMORE – The Parkmore community gets a little spooky hosting a sweet Halloween walk.

The ghouls, superheroes and zombies came out to play in Parkmore as the community’s association, together with 24/7 Security Services and Roadclosures, hosted a Halloween walk on 2 November.

A number of children and their parents came fitted out in their scary costumes and made their way from house to house collecting sweets and enjoying all that the community has to offer.

The spooky evening was simply aimed at having the community come together for a little fun and a few sweet treats, according to the events project manager Shelly Browner. “It was an event that I just wanted the kids to have fun and run wild with,” she explained.

The event embraced the association’s long-standing relationship with 24/7 Security and Roadclosures. Both continue to provide a safe space for the community to operate in well into the evening.

Suburb manager Lori Klein added, “24/7 Security was granted the tender in about 2015, to look after Parkmore, all residents and businesses. We have an excellent working relationship and get them involved with all community functions.”
