Metro police officers found three girls, one aged 14 and the other two aged 15 semi-naked inside a car at a roadblock shortly after 12pm on Saturday night, 12 October on the N1 near Rivonia off ramp.
This is according to a spokesperson for the Metro Police Chief Superindent Wayne Minnaar. Officers asked the ages of the girls, “They told officers they slept in Kyalami on Friday night (11 October), with their parents’ consent. When officers phoned one of the parents in Soweto, she was shocked to hear that the girls had spent Friday night at a house in Kyalami.”
Minnaar said the officers arrested two male adults in the car and they have been charged with abduction and statutory rape.
