MORNINGSIDE – Café'Naited Coffee hosted business influencers for the Digital Architects of Change Summit which tackled ideologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Morningside-based Café’Naited Coffee welcomed entrepreneurs, opinion leaders and millennial influencers recently for the first edition of the Digital Architects of Change Summit which addressed different ideologies on the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The summit had panel discussions with multifaceted industry heavy-weights such as CEO of Zenzele Fitness Group Tumi Phake, author Jackie Phamotse, media personality Aaron Moloisi, fitness fundi Nicolette Mashile, Lawyer Leroy Marc and communications specialist Debra Siyaya.

Hosted by Willamina Media, the event was facilitated by social media specialist Sthembiso Sithole. The various panels provided a thorough introduction into the South African scope of digital marketing and the Internet as well as the erupting era of influencers.

“The Digital Architects of Change is more than just a platform to hear about the mundane success stories of the rich and famous, but more of a practical view of those that have come, conquered, and are perhaps still at it in many ways,” said founder of Willamina Media, Amina Williams.

The audience asked questions and learnt more about developing marketing strategies and other business strategies. Communications specialist, Debra Siyaya explained that influencer marketing has become a standard component in the marketing mix for many South African brands.

Speaking after the event, lawyer Leroy Marc described the event as meaningful. “We often talk about buzz words and catchphrases like the Fourth Industrial Revolution and techno natives, but we seldom have a meaningful action-oriented dialogue about the future of tech. The summit was a great start in accelerating tech conversations that have a real, measurable impact.”
