WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY: SA celebrities, sporting heroes and influencers celebrate teachers
JOHANNESBURG – The #NoOneForgetsAGoodTeacher campaign, will run through the month of October.
This Teachers’ Day, iSchoolAfrica has called out to South African celebrities to join in celebrating our country’s teachers who are shaping our future.
World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October and has become a global day that celebrates the teaching profession’s contribution. iSchoolAfrica has launched the #NoOneForgetsAGoodTeacher campaign, which will run through the month of October.

iSchoolAfrica also invites South Africans to remember and thank their teachers.
Michelle Lissoos, director of iSchoolAfrica explained the idea behind the campaign. “South African teachers’ hard work often goes unrecognised. Our teachers face many challenges and often have to act as guardians, protectors, and confidants to name just a few roles. This campaign aims to empower and support South African teachers, and to recognise the impact they have on the lives of our youth.”
