Young learners enjoy a morning filled with science

BRYANSTON – Junior College learners had the opportunity to show off science experiments they had learned about in class.

Young learners from Junior College in Bryanston had the opportunity to show off their science experiments to fellow learners, teachers and parents.

Bev O’Shea, the principal at the Junior College said the young scientists from grades 1, 2 and 3 had the opportunity to conduct their own science experiments at school and explain what they learned from it.

“We’re doing a lot of science in the classrooms and teachers are doing experiments with them to learn how things work, it’s basically the start of chemistry.”

O’Shea added that the teachers run through a range of different experiments they could conduct and then the learners can go home and develop their own experiment.
