The 10th annual Engen Pitch and Polish workshop and entrepreneurship competition kicked off today (7 July) in Woodmead to help entrepreneurs get their businesses started.
Author of Pitch to Win, Justin Cohen shared his secret to success with the entrepreneurs. He said that there are only two things that entrepreneurs need to base their business on; either increase pleasure or reduce pain.
Cohen says that to be successful, entrepreneurs need to have vision. They need to be motivated and able to envision the contribution they want to make to society #PitchAndPolish @Sandton_News

Cohen says the best entrepreneurs are aware of what gaps need to be filled in their community and how they can address their problems. He says that you don't always need to create something brand new but you can do something better or cheaper #PitchAndPolish @Sandton_News

Cohen said entrepreneurs are the ones who move past failure and find solutions to their problems.
