May 24: Design Joburg Featuring Rooms on View 2019

With Africa’s rich combination of tradition and modernity continuing to enrich global culture, Media 10 is delighted to announce the third edition of Design Joburg Featuring Rooms on View. Gauteng’s premier, contemporary and decorative design show has quickly established itself as the continent’s leading annual décor and design event, taking place from 24 to 26 May at Sandton Convention Centre, in the heart of Sandton central.

Media 10 will once again bring a stellar number of the best design brands under one roof, combining local and global pioneers and trailblazers of the design world.

This year’s show will be tailored under the curative eye of one of the continent’s most iconic design duo’s Philippe van der Merwe and Greg Gamble of the retail atelier and design studio, Tonic Design. Tickets can be bought from Webtickets or at the door.

May 17: Arnold Sports Festival

Arnold Sports Festival at Sandton Convention Centre, Sandton central from 17 to 19 May.

Three years ago, four South African bodybuilding and sports enthusiasts collaborated to make the Arnold Sports Festival a reality on the African continent under the broad theme My Sport, My Passion.

In partnership with the Gauteng provincial government and the SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee, Arnold Classic Africa affords athletes the opportunity to compete in an international competition against participants from all continents, in Africa. Like its global counterparts, the African rendition embraces numerous sporting codes and promotes these through demonstrations, contests, and record attempts and sports celebrities over three days each May.
