Sandton Oncology to host testicular cancer awareness day event.

SANDTON – Sandton Oncology Medical Centre invites the community to a testicular awareness day event.

Sandton Oncology Medical Centre will host a testicular awareness day event on 27 April from 10am to 12.30pm.

On the day, two oncologists, Dr Omondi Ogude and Dr Yusuf Mayet will take you through everything you need to know about testicular cancer, its early symptoms, how it affects one’s sex life, warning signs of testicular cancer, treatment options, imaging, latest modalities and self-examinations.

Patients who have been diagnosed with testicular cancer will share their journey from diagnosis to their current treatment plan. A well-known bodybuilder in the community, Marlon Waldman, will also be giving tips on general health and fitness.

Sandton Oncology encourages everyone, especially men, to join them and be educated on this ‘under-acknowledged’ topic.

Event venue: First Floor, 200 Rivonia Road, Morning Side. Refreshments will be served after the event and parking will be available.
