MMC Michael Sun to reopen newly revamped, state-of-the-art Marlboro Licensing Centre

MARLBORO – MMC Sun to open newly revamped, state-of-the-art Marlboro Licensing Centre.

The MMC for Public Safety Michael Sun will reopen the newly refurbished, state-of-the-art Marlboro Licensing Centre on 18 April.

The Marlboro Licensing Centre was closed for refurbishment in June 2018. The closure was part of the Licensing Directorate’s modernisation programme that will provide access to quality services, convenience, reduce queues and simplify licensing processes.

“The improvement and upgrading of facilities include the implementation of modern technology that will assist in minimising corruption, manage queues and improve the customers experience through digital information of turnaround times and services,” said Sun.

The MMC said Marlboro Licensing Centre will serve as a smart innovative model that all other centre’s in Joburg can follow. He added the main focus is to provide a licensing environment that is free from corruption and delivers world-class services to our clients.
