International Women’s club opens invite to join like-minded women in Bryanston

BRYANSTON – Fifty-one years in the making and they are still going.

The International Women’s Club hosted their monthly meeting at the Bryanston Country Club on 2 April.

The president, Noliene Steyn said, “This club was adapted from earlier years when the English immigrated to South Africa. I felt that this was the perfect opportunity for women to meet and socialize by carrying on the legacy.”

The club organises these events to allow women from all walks of life in and around Johannesburg to get to know each other. Some are South Africans and many are from various parts of the world living as ex-pats in this beautiful country. Attendees will meet fellow ex-pats which makes them feel at ease.

The vice president, Helen Langridge said,

“These meetings are very important especially for the elderly as it gives them the platform to show that they still have the ability to do what they want. It clearly showed in the outcome of the number of Easter bonnets made, with precision.”
